Drive out of the car parks onto the one way system to the roundabout. Go straight across and at the next double roundabout, go across the first and bear right off the second to join the N-332 (junction 784) towards Alicante. Take the next junction (782) towards Murcia sweeping around to the right and under the dual carriageway. Go straight across the roundabout onto the dual carriageway C-3319 heading for Murcia.

After 25kms, follow slip road (sharp right) onto motorway A30 (N-301) "Autovia del Murcia" (at junction 411) heading North towards "Murcia". Drop down the steep mountain motorway hill and take the slip road  onto the MU-30 towards Alcantarilla and Granada/Almeria. Follow this for 7kms and after the tunnel section take the slip road for the A7 E15 "Autovia del Mediterraneo" towards Granada/Almeria.

Stay on the A7 E15 heading towards Almeria and Granada until, a few kilometres after the tunnel under Lorca Castle, you pass the turning for "Puerto Lumbreras" where there is a good motorway services on the right called "Manzenil". Just after that services the motorway climbs a hill and splits into 3 lanes. You need to take the right hand fork (A91) towards Granada (which later becomes the A92N).

At that junction it is normally a good idea to call us so that we have time to get to the meeting point in Velez Blanco - you're about 20 minutes away now.

Climb the mountain range and after 24kms, as you have dropped down into the valley, take the right hand turning for Velez Rubio, junction 408. Drive into the town on the main road, but approximately 250 metres after the BP garage (on the left) the road bears left and there is a turning off to the right (which is more like straight on) onto the A-317 sign-posted to Velez Blanco. Take this turning and climb the hill out of Velez Rubio until after approximately 6kms, you pass a petrol garage on the left. 100 metres later take the right fork into Velez Blanco. Within 200 metres there appears a number of building on the left (some under construction) and stunning uninterrupted views of the Blanco Valley to the right. One of the first buildings on the left is Hotel Velad. Stop outside there as we normally meet guests in the bar of the hotel.
