This is one of the longer drives being nearly 200kms
and normally taking in excess of 2 hours to drive
due to the last 20kms or so of final climb up the
mountain road.
However, the skiing, walking and sight seeing
rewards once there are justification enough.
There is a 'motorway nearly all the way' route via
Granada or, as we prefer, a slight detour for the
last 40kms or so taking in some beautiful mountain
scenery.
